Dr. Prathyusha Mikkilineni is a Consultant Psychiatrist with over 10 years of experience in mental healthcare. She completed her MBBS at Meenakshi Medical College and Research Institute, Kancheepuram (2008–2014) and her MD in Psychiatry at Chettinad Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai (2016–2019).
She trained extensively across Forensic Psychiatry at the Institute of Mental Health, Chennai, the Child Guidance Clinic at the Institute of Child Health, and in General Medicine, Neurology and Neuroradiology at Chettinad Medical College. She served as a Senior Resident at SRM Medical College, Chennai and as Assistant Professor at Mediciti Medical College, Hyderabad.
She has practised across leading Hyderabad hospitals — including Tanvir Hospital, JJ Hospital, Nikhil Hospital, South Asian Liver Institute, LIMS Hospitals, Omega Hospital and New Life Rehab — managing the full spectrum of psychiatric conditions including psychiatric emergencies, liaison psychiatry, and alcohol and drug de-addiction.
Her vision is to create awareness around mental health, destigmatise psychiatric care, and reduce the burden of depression, suicide and addiction through compassionate, evidence-based treatment.
